Why aren’t bees more aggressive when their hives are being moved?

Hi everyone, newb here. I've seen a bunch of videos from different folks that go out and saved hives or relocate them and in the process they seem to be pulling the hive apart and then placing them in containers.

My question is, even if the bees aren't super aggressive, how is it that this isn't reacted to by the bees more violently? I mean in some videos the people aren't even wearing any protection.

It just seems to me that even if the bees were bred to be incredibly docile (which I don't think would even apply since a lot of the videos I'm referring to are of wild hives), this kind of assault on their nest would be seen as threat and one that the bees would defend against.

Thanks for any insight!
