Update to first hive and a few questions

I checked in the hive again to see if the queen was out and she was. All seemed fine and even a small chunk of comb had been made. Something like 5 inches by 5 inches and about half an inch tall in the center of the frame.

The only issues I have is that they seem to not drink a lot of the sugar water nor pollen Pattie’s I gave them. Are they just full is there something I need to do?

another is that there where quite a lot of ticks on me after the checkup do I need to do anything special for them or treat them similar to mites?
