Question about queens, and supplementing brood from another hive.

We are grateful you are here

Question about queens, and supplementing brood from another hive.

I have three hives. We just got them last week from a local pollination beekeeper.

When working them today, noticed there wasn't any fresh brood in two of the hives, and when examining further there were some queen cells, which tells me that there is no queen in these two hives.

My question is this:

Can I take a frame of brood from my hive with a queen, and install it into one of the hives without a queen to keep a fresh batch of bees hatching until the new queen emerges?

If so, what are the dangers of doing this?
