Question about pure raw honey?
I’m currently in Russia, and just visited a local beekeeper in the northern region by Finland. He gave us honey in a bowl and told us to just eat it with a spoon, not to mix it with tea as it would lose is healthy qualities. He said they just harvested the honey the day before, and it was like a rich red color.
I noticed every time I had a spoonful of the honey, my body temperature would increase for like 20 seconds, then go back to normal. Almost like my body gave me a mini fever to fight off something, but then went back to normal a few moments later.
I realized living in America, I had only bought those honey bears from the store, and had never tried raw honey before.
Is this a normal reaction to raw honey?
