Packaged Bees, Supercedure Cells?
First time beekeeper here. I received some packaged bees a week ago and went to check the hive and noticed these empty queen cells. Should I cut them off or is this a result of them being in the mail for 5 days, unable to lay?
Some general background, I checked after 3 days to make sure the queen was free. The indent where the queen cells are was where the little queen box was hanging until I removed it. I didn't see the queen today during the inspection, but I saw eggs in cells, so she is around somewhere. Thanks
