Over wintering bees in high tunnels.
First time beekeeper in New England here. A friend got me into beekeeping. He hasn’t had great luck over wintering his hives. I know professional beekeepers often bring their hives down south. We have a small farm with unused high tunnels. Can I move my hive into one to protect them from the elements? I can’t find anything on the topic, which makes me think I’ll get a resounding “No!” but figured I’d check.
