Need help! Have a helper on property trying to take over my hives!
Dramatic title, however, accurate. I have an apiary with 3 hives. Just a little hobby farm for my husband and I. Had them since late March. Anywho, we have a helper on property kinda like a local WWOOFING situation. He went into the apiary one day and moved our supers in between the two brood boxes we have. I dont like this idea. He did not talk to me about it. I later mentioned that and he gave me a reason saying it increases production. Told him thats not the style we are going for. Anyways. I put them back. My husband is away for work in camp, he messaged him and cried his story and my husband is a very nice guy, has a hard time saying no to people. So he now has 2 hi es with supers in the middle. I have my one hive left alone.
Is there an advantage to having the supers in the middle? Or will it just end up with brood in my honey? No he did not use queen extractors. Thanks in advance for anyhelp
