Need a little advice
TL;DR Bees are filling open spaces with syrup quickly. Should I continue to feed?
Today is Day 2 of my package bees. Went in today to manually release the queen because the cage did not have candy and the cage had fallen off the frame but I scooped it out and all the bees were balling around the cage trying to get her out. I released her and she walked down a frame. I decided to check the frame to see if there were any signs of aggression toward the queen and they were surrounding her and tending to her. I noticed that the frame I picked up was full of syrup (I had some drawn comb from previous hives) so the bees were just taking the syrup and filling the space. Should I continue to feed syrup or leave them without it for a bit?
