Is there a way to get bees to leave an area without harming them?
I'm currently working in sanitation which includes taking out garbage. The problem is, our outdoor trash has been swarmed with bees for about a week or more now. I can't even get near it without being surrounded by bees and I don't want to get stung. We were pretty sure they had a hive in the wall so one of the employees filled in the whole with spray foam. They came right back and just hang out in the garbage bin/bag. Someone was finally brave enough to take out the garbage and put in a fresh back, but again they came right back. Is there a way to get them to leave humanely? Ive seen stuff online about certain scents like lemon and stuff possibly helping but not sure if it actually works. I don't want them to eventually get killed with bug spray, but worried that'll probably be the next measure if they don't go. Thanks in advance!
