Is there a correlation with the bee’s amount of aggression to what they are doing?
1st year at this. Seems that the last 3 days or so the bees are just more pissed off than usual.
90% of the time I can walk out there where they are (near my garden) and they don't even concern theirselves with me at all.
The last couple days though, they've been stinging me and I'm not even doing anything with the hives…they aren't due for an inspection until next week.
I wonder if they're trying to protect something that I don't know about. Like, new queens or an abundance of honey or something I don't even know about.
Any insight on this would be appreciated
Edit: it's been overcast and raining the last few days, I wouldn't be surprised if that's why they aren't acting right. I know they like the sun and navigate with it…so maybe they're just frustrated with the rain/clouds?
