How to tidy up a hive at the end of the year
Hello all, my bees swarmed around July 4th failed to requeen and now is late in the season as I live in the northern climate. We took the honey as we now have a laying worker and the colony is toast.
What are our next steps? We will buy another package next year but we want to save all the drawn comb and avoid pests getting into the hive that is already there.
Should we take each frame freeze it and store it for next year inside?
