Honey from dead out hives

Hey r/beekeeping

I consolidated down from 4 hives down to 1 this season as my time is more limited this year for beekeeping. As a result, I have about 3 deeps of honey and partially capped nectar. I don't want this honey to be for human consumption as I've treated it with formic pro and oxalic acid.

My current hive is already on 3 deeps, I'm about ready to put supers on but I was wondering what your thoughts were to spin the honey out of the deeps, putting it in a feeder bucket, and giving it back to the bees in the fall in prep for winter? I'm in MN so they need between 75-100lbs of honey.
