Hey folks and bee lovers everywhere! Robbing has killed my hive! Help!

The other day I went into the weakest hive and the wax in the frames was all chewed, yellow jackets everywhere. Some carpenter bees were in there too. The honey bee population was less than fifty. I saw the queen on the inside of the box all alone and struggling to move around. It was the saddest thing I’ve seen in a while. I put a sheet over the hive as someone suggested. The total number of bees has dropped to around 25. I don’t know if the queen is still kicking. Is there any hope of saving this hive? Originally, I was going to do a combination with another hive. Because of the robbing, I wasn’t sure if that was a good idea. I put some frames with honey in there to support the bees (not the damned robbers). I really could use some experienced advice. I tend to think this is a hopeless cause with winter around the corner. Can anyone advice me? Thanks in advance in case I don’t get back to you—I’ll be too busy mourning the loss….
