First apiary inspection ever!

Hi all, brand-new beekeeper here

Last Saturday I received my first colony (a full Dadant brood box with 6 brood and 2 food frames). I just did today my first inspection by myself, I was TERRIFIED guys, as I only managed frames quickly during the beekeeping course 😉

I have not seen eggs, I have not seen the Queen, lots of larvae, and the bees were quite upset all the time. I unfortunately was not that delicate not to kill any… this will haunt me for a while.

Is it normal that the bees are still a bit "nervous" 2.5 days after the move? (the travel was short, about 7 km, 4.5 miles, just 10 min of car).
