I did a hive removal on Friday – I posted about it here. https://www.reddit.com/r/Beekeeping/comments/ht7578/queenless_hive_removal/ TLDR – there was no queen, but two queen cells (one had a larva in it for sure). Today I did a hive inspection and the queen cell was capped. I've never let the bees regenerate their own queen – how confident should I be that this is going to work? Anything I can do to know if the queen is intercaste? Do I just need to wait to see?
