Bee situation under the house
After I moved into my house about 3 years ago I discovered a bee hive entrance in the back low to the ground. I didn't inspect it closely and assumed they had gotten into the wall. This is a low/no traffic area so I decided to wait until I replace the siding to remove them. So last week I bought a bee suit, nuc, etc. After tearing up some boards near the entrance of the hive I discovered they are not in the wall at all but under the house in about a 5 inch space between the ground and the floor. The hive is completely inaccessible. I don't want to kill them but they have to go. What can I do? Is there any way to lure them out? My plan was to set them up in a small apiary in the country.
