Hi all! First year beekeeper here. I built a AZ Slovenian style hive which has been going great. I just opened up the first super for the bees as the two deeps were about 80 to 90% full. I keep my bees on a friend's land as I live in a condo and can't keep bees there. He's a hard cider maker a does dump apple pressings near the hive. Will I be able to consume the honey they produce from the apple pressings if they decide to grab some of the sugar from the left over apples? I've heard about not using supers while feeding them the sugar syrup as you can't consume that funny honey so I wanted to make sure I'm not running into the same situation with apple pressings.
