Adding frames from old hive to new hive?

Hey everyone! I have a bunch of old frames from dead hives that didn't over winter. They're drawn out and there's a number of them that have honey that I froze for the winter.

I started four new hives this year a couple weeks ago. I gave them each a frame of honey and a frame or two of empty drawn out comb. The rest were brand new frames.

Should i be giving them empty frames if I have drawn out frames? Or should I be giving them as many drawn out frames as I can? Thanks!
